This afternoon I took my leave from the group - it had become too big and consensus on what to do next was far to be found - and resumed my way on the Camino. But yet again my biggest adversary was the heat: I just can't stand 35 degrees (Celcius) with a backpack and everything. So I only made 5 km and decided to give my legs a rest. My feet are still fine (thank you, shoes), but my legs are acting up.
I'm in this really cute little hostel in Cizur Menor, run by the Knights Hospitaller (founded around 1023 to provide care for pilgrims to the Holy Land, now known as the Order of Malta). As their name suggests, this is probably the most hospitable (and low-cost) place I've been so far. They have a wide range of food to choose from and they only ask a voluntary contribution. They have a little kitchen too, so I'll be cooking my own food tonight :)

Lekker gegeten uiteindelijk? Ik ben benieuwd naar je verslag van dag 5 :) Veel wandelenergie toegewenst uit het wat minder warme Delft! -
